Daddy went Snow Camping near Camp Muir as a way to help prepare for a Rainier Summit in the distant future. A good way to learn some new skills and with 10 degree temps, you're not doing much but staying warm and talking about stuff in the tent protecting you from the ice and wind. Kind of weird to listen to the avalanches off in the distance.
