The Making of Whistles and Flutes

The making of "Whistles and Flutes" all started when a teammate suggested I try something a bit more interactive when I'm doing my online schtick... While some would say "bleep" you, I took that as a bit of a challenge... Try to make something more engaging than just a page, a story or a song. So with that, I took up the challenge of creating a short film.

It started on Wednesday night when I tried to find something that spoke to that teammate. I thought "How about 'It's Raining Men'"... naw... too obvious... Suddenly, "Whistles and Flutes" came on while I was driving home and I decided to start from there... subtle, somewhat whimsical... yet makes no sense at all. The stereotypical Dead Can Dance song... I went home, shot 2 minutes of film on the Canon Powershot 3.2 megapixel camera and dumped it all into Microsoft MovieMaker. The product that came out just proves that you CAN build a house using a rock as a hammer and firecrackers as nails.

A wise man once said "Have fun, build something, wreck something, clean something..." I try to do all of them in everything I do. So... enjoy a whistle or a flute... whatever the hell that means...
